If you plan to do one night hike in Hong Kong, this is a "must" on the list. It is easily accessible in the city with one of the most incredible view! On one side, you can see Clearwater Bay and Saikung, on another side you can see the Kowloon view. Below pictures are of Kowloon View.

You can take MTR to Choi Hung station and go from there. The hike itself takes about 2 to 4 hours, subject to your fitness level. You can start the trail from Jat Incline, or you can do an off trail hike which is what we did. There is no name on the trail and we needed to climb up. When I said climb up, we did use our hands, and at some points, also ropes. There are some parts that are steep. If you have IT band issue or knee issue, bring your hiking poles and wear hiking boots. Obviously don't forget your headlamp as this is a night hike! I suggest you get there earlier to enjoy the sunset then stay after to enjoy the night view! We did it the night after the mid-autumn's festival. We were blessed with a really beautiful full moon.
