Today we are being lazy, but also felt like we should do something. Well, stream hike it is!
This is just a 2 to 3 hours "hike" behind our house. We found this trail by accident a few months ago during the first COVID-19 closure. Surprisingly, there were quite a few families having picnic and playing around the stream (social distance was put in place).
We took our friends, Jay and Jeff, who also lived in the same neighborhood to explore this trail.
Trail: Quarry Bay Treewalk - Mt. Parker Road - Sir Cecil's Ride - Siu Ma Shan
We walked to the end of Siu Ma Shan. Instead of going to Jardine's lookout or to Mt Parker Road/Mt. Butler, we came across the tall electricity tower/poles. Walked to the end of that direction, and you will turn right to start the quarry/stream hike. It is not difficult, and just fun to hike around the rocks and boulders. You will have an amazing view of the city from there.
We had dinner at one of the giant rocks, and enjoyed the peace and quite there.
This is an easy hike, and very family friendly. Try it out and enjoy some stream hike in the urban jungle!
